## What it does

Perigon is a hosted MCP server for Perigon’s news API. It gives an agent access to articles, stories, companies, journalists, monitors, and news statistics. Tool selection can be narrowed through the MCP URL.

The server uses Streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.perigon.io/v1/mcp`. In Claude Code, add the endpoint and authenticate from `/mcp`. OAuth requires a verified Perigon user with the User role in an organization; an API key can be used instead through the `Authorization: Bearer` header.
