# people-context

This server keeps information about people in a local database and lets an agent look it up. Use it to retain relationship details, past agreements, and communication preferences.

## What it does

people-context stores relationships, roles, durable facts, brief interaction notes, reminders, and a timeline for each person in a local SQLite file. Its lookup tools can search names, aliases, and handles. When a name matches multiple people, the server returns separate candidates and explains the matches rather than silently picking one.

Imports from email, calendars, vCards, and other exports wait for your review before anything is saved. The original source content is discarded; writes are audited, and the delete operation removes records. Sensitive entries require operator access. Ordinary commands do not make network requests.

You need Python 3.11+ and `uv`. Add the server to Claude Code with `claude mcp add people-context -- uvx people-context`. Its database stays on your machine, so the agent can only use the details you choose to record.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
