# pendnt

Connects an agent to human approvals, notifications and inbound webhooks. Use it when actions need an explicit review or a run should send a completion signal.

## What it does

pendnt connects Claude Code to a workspace through MCP. Its tools let an agent request or check approval, send notifications, manage inbound endpoints, schedule wake-ups and work with key-value storage. A person can review an action before the agent proceeds.

The package includes hooks for permission requests, notifications and run completion. Approval is fail-closed: errors, timeouts and operator denials prevent the action from going ahead. The hooks need `PENDNT_API_KEY` to call the service.

Hook scripts run on Node 18+ and use no npm dependencies. Claude Code can handle headless approvals through the `PermissionRequest` hook or the `permission_prompt` MCP tool. When both are configured, `--permission-prompt-tool` takes precedence.
