## What it does

Partle is an MCP server for the Partle marketplace. Your assistant can look up products by name, price range, tags or store, fetch a full record by ID, search stores by name or address, and browse open buy requests on the public `/wanted` feed. Search also works across languages, so a query in one language can surface listings written in another.

Reading the public catalogue needs no credentials. Writing and private inventory access take OAuth or a `pk_…` key: OAuth walks the user through a consent screen and attaches the bearer token, while the key suits scripts and agents that cannot do OAuth. Skip auth and `create_product`, `update_product` and every inventory call will fail.

Two ways to run it. The remote option is streamable HTTP at `https://partle.rubenayla.xyz/mcp/` with nothing to configure. The local stdio package installs with `pip install partle-mcp` or runs straight from `uvx partle-mcp`, and a Docker image exists too; it proxies to the public REST API, so no database or local backend is involved. One tool, `get_upload_url`, only lives on the remote server. The public REST API allows 100 requests per hour per IP.
