## What it does

mcp-server exposes PageRankCafe tools to an AI agent. It can check API health, list active link, banner, YouTube, and press-release ads, read credit and referral balances, and return performance for each placement. The server also supports creating and editing ad content.

The available actions include image upload, posting existing ads into rotation, and platform-wide performance summaries covering the trailing 30 days. Read operations work with a valid key on a free account; publishing and `get_platform_insights` require Bronze, Silver, or Gold membership.

Set `PAGERANKCAFE_API_KEY` to the key generated in PageRankCafe before connecting the server. Without that variable, the process exits with an error at startup. API failures surface as MCP tool errors, and the server does not retry failed calls or apply silent fallbacks.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `PAGERANKCAFE_API_KEY`, `PAGERANKCAFE_BASE_URL` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
