# OpenQR

## What it does

The MCP server connects coding clients to `https://openqr.uk/mcp`. It lets your assistant render static codes in PNG or SVG markup. It also handles dynamic codes whose destination URL updates later without reprinting. Batch generation creates up to 200 codes at once.

Organization tools include folders, tags, and reusable visual themes. You can pick colors along with dot and corner styles. Pre-built styles arrive as MCP resources, and four bundled prompts handle tasks like scan reports.

Calls will fail without an API key. Every tool requires credentials passed through the authorization header or the `OPENQR_API_KEY` variable.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://openqr.uk/mcp`
- Environment variables: `OPENQR_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
