## What it does

OpenCaseLaw gives an agent access to Swiss court decisions, federal and cantonal statutes, and material used to interpret the law. Search decisions in German, French, or Italian, and follow references from one case to another. The server exposes 42 tools.

Claude Code connects to the HTTP endpoint `https://mcp.opencaselaw.ch/mcp`. Add it with the command below; no account or API key is needed. MCP access is read-only, so it cannot alter records. Coverage depends on the source portals, some of which restrict access to their decisions.
