## What it does

The server links your development environment with OpenAgenda to search, inspect, and update event records. It runs across clients supporting MCP either through a hosted HTTP transport or as a local stdio process.

Connecting over HTTP requires only the endpoint URL `https://mcp.openagenda.com/mcp`. Running the package locally via `npx -y @openagenda/mcp` demands environment variables: `OA_API_KEY`, `OA_BASE_URL`, `OA_EXECUTOR`, and `OA_LOCAL_NO_SANDBOX`. Without setting `OA_API_KEY`, local execution fails authentication.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.openagenda.com/mcp`
- Environment variables: `OA_API_KEY`, `OA_BASE_URL`, `OA_EXECUTOR`, `OA_LOCAL_NO_SANDBOX` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
