# openaffiliate-mcp

Gives your agent access to a registry of affiliate programs: commission rates, cookie duration, payout terms. Useful when picking a program for a project.

## What it does

The server exposes five tools. Three are read-only: `search_programs` queries the registry, `get_program` returns a program card along with its OAS score, and `list_categories` lists the categories. The other two, `submit_program` and `get_submission_status`, queue a missing program for verification. Nothing gets listed instantly.

Connect over HTTP at `https://openaffiliate.dev/api/mcp`. No API key required. The same endpoint also answers at `https://openaffiliate.dev/mcp` for remote clients such as Claude.ai and ChatGPT. If you want a local copy or a pinned version, use the stdio transport with `npx -y openaffiliate-mcp`.

Check what the agent actually got back: `get_program` returns an OAS score only for programs that have one. For the rest the score field is absent, and that is not a server error.
