## What it does

This server connects coding assistants to the OmniDimension telephony infrastructure. It exposes tools to assemble and modify voice agents, bind knowledge bases, and upload reference documents. The integration also handles telephone numbers from Twilio, Exotel, or SIP connections, alongside listings for speech synthesis, recognition engines, and language models.

OmniDimension offers both a local stdio package via `@omnidim-ai/mcp-server` and a hosted endpoint at `https://mcp.omnidim.io/mcp`. Local execution demands an `OMNIDIM_API_KEY` set in the environment or stored under `~/.config/omnidim/credentials`. Without this key, requests fail authentication immediately.

A built-in diagnostic utility, invoked via `doctor`, reports connectivity status without printing secret tokens. Local error records remain stored on your machine in `~/.config/omnidim/logs/mcp.log`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.omnidim.io/mcp`
- Environment variables: `OMNIDIM_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## When to use it
- trigger single outbound phone calls or bulk outreach operations
- set up voice assistants and link documentation to their knowledge base
- import phone lines through SIP, Twilio, or Exotel
- query supported speech-to-text engines and synthetic voice options
