# OfflineCreator Studio

## What it does

The server links AI coding assistants to media generation pipelines. Built-in tools let the assistant inspect credits via `get_credits`, retrieve available options through `list_models`, and dispatch creation jobs with `generate`. Additional helpers handle file uploads, poll task status with `wait_generation`, and retrieve finished assets with `download_output`.

Setup works in two ways. The primary method connects directly to `https://mcp.offlinecreatorstudio.com/mcp`, relying on client-managed OAuth tokens. A fallback stdio mode executes the `@offlinecreator/mcp` package with `npx`.

Running the local stdio command requires setting `OFFLINECREATOR_API_KEY` in your environment, or the process fails to start. The open-source repository supplies only the thin client and an authorization bridge, while model execution and account services reside on proprietary infrastructure.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.offlinecreatorstudio.com/mcp`
- Environment variables: `OFFLINECREATOR_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## When to use it
- Trigger image and video rendering tasks directly from the assistant prompt
- Check current account credit balances via `get_credits`
- Monitor render progress and fetch finished media files with `download_output`
- View supported rendering models using `list_models`
