# Odoo MCP Pro

## What it does

The server speaks Model Context Protocol and hands your assistant a set of Odoo tools. Search records with domain filters, sorting and pagination, fetch a record by ID, compute grouped totals through `read_group`, export many records to compact CSV with relation paths like `order_id/partner_id/city`. Creating, updating and deleting work for single records and in bulk, plus idempotent upsert via external IDs.

Any Odoo model is fair game: sales, invoices, contacts, inventory, CRM. Odoo 19 and newer go through the JSON/2 API, older versions through XML-RPC. Self-hosting is single-tenant: one Odoo instance configured with the `ODOO_URL` and `ODOO_API_KEY` environment variables, no OAuth and no admin UI. Python 3.10 or newer is required.

HTTP mode ships without authentication. Run it with `--host 0.0.0.0` and anyone who can reach the port can drive your Odoo with your API key, so put it behind a reverse proxy or restrict access at the network level.
