# Octri CLI

## What it does

The server runs via `octri mcp serve` through standard I/O. It supplies typed tools covering the Octri API. Agents can submit OpenAPI schema files, inspect audit findings, preview generated code, and trigger SDK compilation for target languages.

Documentation lifecycle and runtime telemetry connect directly to the session. You can publish release versions or view production issue traces with mapped frames. For source mapping to succeed, uploaded symbol releases must match runtime SDK identifiers. Running the tool requires Node 20 or newer.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `OCTRI_API_KEY`, `OCTRI_PROJECT_ID`, `OCTRI_PROFILE`, `HTTPS_PROXY`, `NO_PROXY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
