## What it does

The server exposes a `search` tool that lets your AI assistant look up current airfares between cities or airport codes. You supply travel dates, seat class, and passenger counts. The tool returns matching flights with airline details, flight numbers, duration, and partner checkout links.

Communication relies on stateless streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.octotrip.app/flights/mcp` using Server-Sent Events. It keeps no session state. The endpoint limits traffic to one request per second, allowing bursts up to five.

This service does not process payments or manage bookings. It queries external aggregators and sorts results purely by price within each stop category.
