## What it does

This MCP server gives an AI client access to German public procurement search based on OCDS data. It supports semantic tender searches, parameter-based filtering, and matching against a company profile. Profiles can be created, viewed, edited, listed, and removed.

The server runs locally and uses a multilingual ONNX model to process queries and profile text. The API receives vector representations, OCIDs, and filter values rather than the original search text. An `OCDS_API_KEY` is required; without it, the configured MCP process cannot authenticate. Claude Code installs it with `claude mcp add` and the `@qune-tech/ocds-mcp` package.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `OCDS_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
