## What it does

The server lets an agent query NotebookLM sources, create and manage notebooks, extract tables, and generate audio or video overviews. It also exposes chat history and health checks. Separate tools handle video overviews and data tables.

Core features need browser authentication, not an API key. Gemini Deep Research and document uploads through the API require an additional API. The project describes 17 security layers, including encryption and audit logs; formal certification depends on a third-party audit. Browser authentication is required for the core NotebookLM features.
