# nope-mcp — Open Educational Resources search

Searches German open educational resources on Nostr relays using AMB metadata. It brings licensed learning materials and wiki records directly to AI agents.

## What it does

This server connects AI assistants to educational repositories on AMB Nostr relays. Tools like `search_content` run ranked queries across learning materials and academic publications. The `OPEN_LICENSES_ONLY` flag filters out closed materials by default. Only CC0, Public Domain Mark, CC BY, and CC BY-SA records remain.

The package includes `extract_metadata` to turn public web pages into AMB payloads. It also handles event signing for kind 30142 records. Citation answers rely on `search_passages`.

Without `INDEXER_ENDPOINTS` and an auth token, `search_passages` stays disabled. You can link directly to `https://mcp.edufeed.org/mcp`.
