# Nifra docs

Serves Nifra framework documentation, runnable examples and API types to your coding assistant. Useful when an agent writes Nifra code and should not guess the contract.

## What it does

The server runs over HTTP at `https://mcp.nifra.dev` and plugs into Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and others. What it exposes is Nifra's reference material: typed APIs, runtime schemas, a client that needs no codegen, SSR across five UI libraries. Your assistant reads that as project context instead of inventing signatures.

In Claude the setup is one line: `claude mcp add --transport http nifra-docs https://mcp.nifra.dev`. Codex takes `codex mcp add nifra-docs --url https://mcp.nifra.dev`, Gemini CLI takes `gemini mcp add -t http nifra-docs https://mcp.nifra.dev`. Cursor and GitHub Copilot are configured through a JSON block in their settings files, with `url` and `type` fields.

The framework itself asks for Bun 1.3 or newer when you scaffold with `bun create nifra`. Docs also cover the agent layer: WebMCP, remote MCP, A2A, AG-UI, bounded agent turns and budgets. Your local runtime does not matter for the server — it is hosted remotely and answers regardless of what you have installed.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://mcp.nifra.dev`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http nifra-docs https://mcp.nifra.dev
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add nifra-docs --url https://mcp.nifra.dev
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "nifra-docs": {
            "url": "https://mcp.nifra.dev"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "nifra-docs": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://mcp.nifra.dev"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http nifra-docs https://mcp.nifra.dev
```

## When to use it
- wire Nifra documentation into an assistant without pasting pages by hand
- get exact API types instead of agent guesses
- learn WebMCP and predictive UI from working examples
- check a capability contract before editing code
- set up one MCP server across several editors

## Example prompts
- Connect the nifra-docs MCP server and show me how to declare a capability with `defineAgentCapability`
- Find a Nifra example of a typed route using `t.object`
- How do I project a capability into Nifra's remote MCP adapter?
