## What it does

NexusTrade Financial MCP gives an agent access to the hosted NexusTrade platform through MCP. Its tools cover market research, portfolio construction, backtesting, optimization, walk-forward checks, paper trading, and managed brokerage operations. The server exposes more than 120 tools.

Marketplace features let the agent find public creators, inspect listed portfolios, prepare a subscription checkout preview, make an editable fork, and mirror trades into a paper or live portfolio. Clients connect to `https://nexustrade.io/api/mcp`; NexusTrade OAuth is discovered during the connection.

Portfolio changes, schedules, and brokerage orders remain controlled by the permissions and approval settings of the authenticated NexusTrade account. Research and historical performance are not investment advice, so paper and live modes should be kept explicit.
