## What it does

The server links AI coding assistants to the .NET SDK using predefined tool schemas. Instead of scraping console text, the assistant receives structured JSON payloads. This cuts down token usage.

Built-in resources expose environment details like `dotnet://sdk-info`, `dotnet://templates`, and `dotnet://workspace`. It includes enriched diagnostics for 52 compiler and tooling error codes across CS, MSB, NU, and NETSDK categories, providing direct links to Microsoft documentation.

The package works only as an MCP server, not as a general library. Launching it via `dnx` requires the .NET 10 SDK.

## Requirements
- Environment variables: `DOTNET_SKIP_FIRST_TIME_EXPERIENCE`, `DOTNET_NOLOGO` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
