## What it does

Nausika connects an AI assistant with marine information covering forecasts, tides, sea routes, anchorages, and points of interest. It is suited to questions about a planned passage, a coastal area, or places to stop.

The MCP server is reached over HTTP at `https://mcp.nausika.app`. In Claude Code, you can add it with `claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.nausika.app` or `claude mcp add --transport http nausika https://mcp.nausika.app`; Codex uses `codex mcp add nausika --url https://mcp.nausika.app`. The Nausika repository is a public feedback and issue tracker, not the server’s codebase.

Nausika is in public beta and has no SLA. That matters for workflows that depend on uninterrupted access to marine data.
