## What it does

name-tools provides tools to suggest names and check a single .com domain through RDAP. Its trademark search covers the USPTO and EUIPO registers, looking for exact, phonetic, and fuzzy matches and weighing results by Nice class. A separate tool scores a name using domain and trademark signals.

You need a Startup Name Generator API key. Connect over HTTP or run the package with `npx` using stdio; the stdio setup passes the key through `STARTUPNAMEGENERATOR_API_KEY`. The trademark search is not legal advice. The free Name Check is limited to one use per day.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://startupnamegenerator.com/api/mcp`
- Environment variables: `STARTUPNAMEGENERATOR_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
