# mu

mu gives an agent one MCP endpoint for search, mail, news, markets, weather, places, files, and calendars. Use it when a coding agent needs outside services.

## What it does

mu exposes 67 tools through a single MCP interface. They cover mail, files, calendars, contacts, notes, shell access, web search, news, video, weather, and market data. You describe the outcome, and the Micro agent selects the service to use.

For Claude Code, connect the server at `https://micro.mu/mcp`. You can also install the local runtime with the provided script and run it at `127.0.0.1:8080`; then open `http://localhost:8080` to create an account and choose an AI provider. A self-hosted CLI setup uses `MU_URL` or `mu login https://your.host`.
