## What it does

Morocco communes provides information on Morocco’s regions, provinces, communes and other administrative divisions. The dataset includes HCP codes, French and Arabic names, census figures from 2014 and 2024, counts of economic establishments, and boundaries sourced from OpenStreetMap. The MCP server makes this information available to an agent; an HTTP API is provided as well.

Census indicators cover population, age, education, languages, work and housing. The collection also includes rural douars and a crosswalk between administrative units in the two census years. Licensing varies by dataset section. Geometry and some OpenStreetMap-derived fields use ODbL, so check those terms before reusing them.

Claude Code connects over HTTP with `claude mcp add`. Codex and Cursor are among the other listed platforms. The two census vintages make year-to-year comparisons possible without treating the figures as a single snapshot.
