## What it does

Built in Rust with the official `rmcp` library, moodle-mcp ships as a standalone static binary. The tool runs against Moodle installations from version 3.7 through 5.x. It provides 20 typed operations. It runs without a browser.

The binary handles document conversions locally, turning HTML and PDF files into clean markdown. Tools consume local filesystem paths rather than base64 payloads. Homework submissions remain drafts until confirmed.

Your institution must have the mobile web service enabled, or authentication will fail. The server intentionally lacks any tool for answering quizzes.

## Requirements
- Needs: a prebuilt binary from the repository releases
- Environment variables: `MOODLE_URL`, `MOODLE_TOKEN` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
