## What it does

This server bridges AI agents with the MoneyMatter personal finance system through a remote HTTP endpoint. The assistant inspects your accounts, categorized transactions, budget limits, and debts. Net worth calculations also incorporate investment portfolios with daily asset prices, loans, and vehicles.

You can host MoneyMatter on your own hardware via Docker Compose on port 8080 or rely on the hosted cloud service. The MCP connection targets `https://mcp.moneymatter.app/mcp`. Without an active MoneyMatter account or self-hosted deployment, the remote server cannot retrieve financial records.
