# Mini Accountant

This MCP server lets an AI assistant work with Mini Accountant invoices, customers, expenses, and reports. Use it for finance tasks from a coding assistant.

## What it does

Mini Accountant connects an assistant to a remote workspace over streamable HTTP. It can create, read, edit, and delete invoices, customers, and expenses, manage reusable services, and update payment settings. The server also supports period-based reports, tax estimates, and changes to the account profile or app settings. Built-in skills and prompts help the assistant choose a workflow.

Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 and OpenID Connect, so an API key is not needed. You do need a Mini Accountant account and a sign-in step. Tokens are scoped to that account, and the assistant works with its data. The service does not provide recurring or scheduled invoicing, payroll, double-entry bookkeeping, or statutory e-invoicing. Without a Mini Accountant account, the server cannot connect.
