## What it does

OpusClip connects an MCP host to the OpusClip API. An agent can submit a long-form video URL, upload a local video, inspect project status and clips, download an MP4, create a censor job, or work with clip collections.

The server exposes 22 tools covering projects, brand templates, collections, and social publishing. It can prepare platform-specific copy, publish a clip to a connected account, or schedule that post. The setup needs Node.js 20+, npm, and an OpusClip API key in `OPUS_API_KEY`.

Local video reads are restricted to `MCP_WORKSPACE_PATH`, or to the system temporary directory when that variable is unset. Download targets use the same sandbox; paths that escape it through `..` or symlinks are rejected. Node.js 20+ is required for the server to start.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `OPUS_API_KEY`, `OPUS_API_TIMEOUT_MS`, `OPUS_UPLOAD_TIMEOUT_MS`, `OPUS_BRIDGE_TIMEOUT_MS`, `MCP_WORKSPACE_PATH` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
