## What it does

This server maps over 300 tools directly to Microsoft Graph API endpoints. By default, it exposes personal productivity tools: Outlook emails, calendar scheduling, OneDrive storage, Excel spreadsheets, OneNote, and To Do task lists. Corporate features like Teams chat logs, meeting transcripts, and SharePoint document libraries require launching with `--org-mode`.

Authentication runs through MSAL. The server connects to international Microsoft 365, 21Vianet in China, and GCC High environments. For GCC High, configure an application in your sovereign cloud tenant, specify `MS365_MCP_CLIENT_ID` with `MS365_MCP_TENANT_ID`, and pass `--cloud gcc-high`. When reading large datasets, the optional TOON format cuts token overhead by 30-60% compared to standard JSON.

Node.js 20 or higher is required to prevent dependency failures. In restricted enterprise setups, protect your data by applying `--read-only` or narrowing Graph permissions through `--allowed-scopes`.
