# Metaplex Agent Registry

This MCP server creates an EIP-8004 identity for an agent in the Solana-based Metaplex Agent Registry. Use it to deploy an agent and inspect its registration.

## What it does

The server mints a Metaplex Core asset and registers the agent identity in the Metaplex Agent Registry. Supply a name, description, image, and model URL; tools can also read registered agents, build a registration document, and list recent registrations. Sign with an agent key or an external Solana wallet such as Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, or Ledger.

\`mint_onchain_agent` returns a preview first and broadcasts only after confirmation. For an external wallet, `prepare_agent_mint` builds the transaction for signing, then `send_signed_transaction` submits it. `SOLANA_SECRET_KEY` is optional for read tools and the Phantom or Solflare wallet flow.

Mainnet deployments carry a 0.02 SOL fee that funds $THREE buybacks; holding enough tokens lowers or waives it. Devnet charges no deployment fee. That makes devnet suitable for rehearsing the flow, while mainnet calls for budgeting the fee and network costs.
