## What it does

This MCP server gives an agent access to Zenvia messaging: SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, email, voice, and Facebook Messenger. It can also look up delivery status, manage contacts and approved templates, handle event subscriptions, and put phone numbers on the opt-out list.

A Zenvia API token is required. Set `ZENVIA_API_TOKEN` before connecting; without it, the server cannot authenticate with the API. In Claude Code, add the server with `claude mcp add mcp-zenvia -e ZENVIA_API_TOKEN=<ZENVIA_API_TOKEN> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-zenvia`. Zenvia’s dashboard includes a sandbox for testing messages.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `ZENVIA_API_TOKEN` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## Install

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add mcp-zenvia -e ZENVIA_API_TOKEN=<ZENVIA_API_TOKEN> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-zenvia
```
Replace <…> with your own values

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add zenvia --env ZENVIA_API_TOKEN=<ZENVIA_API_TOKEN> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-zenvia
```
