## What it does

mcp-vindi gives an agent Vindi tools for creating and inspecting subscriptions, bills, customers, plans, and products. It can also stop or restore subscriptions, cancel pending bills, retry a charge, and issue a full or partial refund.

The server includes tools for payment profiles, including creation and filtered listing. In total, it exposes 20 tools, with optional filters on several list operations. It runs through `npx` and reads the credential from `VINDI_API_KEY`.

Vindi authenticates with Basic Auth: the API key is used as the username and the password is empty. The server cannot call Vindi without `VINDI_API_KEY`; testing requires a sandbox API key from the Vindi dashboard.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `VINDI_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
