## What it does

mcp-server is an MCP server from HeyPuter that lets AI tools talk to Puter. The agent manages files, websites and workers from the chat instead of you clicking through the dashboard.

It is a remote HTTP server at `https://mcp.puter.com/`, so there is nothing to install locally. Claude takes one command; Cursor and GitHub Copilot take a JSON block in their MCP config. Codex, Cline, Zed and Windsurf connect the same way.

The repository is AGPL-3.0. That matters if you fork Puter itself rather than just pointing a client at the hosted endpoint. For plain use through `https://mcp.puter.com/` the license does not get in the way.
