## What it does

The server lets an assistant build a deck from scratch or work on an existing `.pptx` file. It can add slides, format text and shapes, insert images, tables and charts, and write speaker notes. It can also apply a `.potx` or `.pptx` template and manage slide reading order for accessibility.

Tools are organized by domain: `shape`, `table` and `chart` each use an `action` parameter to select an operation. Export slides to PDF or images for visual review. You need Windows and desktop Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 or later; the server controls a real PowerPoint process, so it does not fit headless or server-side workflows. Close the target presentation before automation, since the server needs exclusive access to it.
