## What it does

MCP Registry gives clients access to a catalog of MCP servers. You can use it to discover entries; publishing your own server is handled by the `mcp-publisher` CLI.

In Claude Code, add the server over HTTP using the registry endpoint. Running the registry locally requires Docker, Go, `ko`, and `golangci-lint`; `make dev-compose` starts it with PostgreSQL at `localhost:8080`. The registry is in preview, so API changes or data resets could affect an integration.
