## What it does

This server translates Organizze v2 API endpoints into tool calls for your coding assistant. It reads bank account summaries, registers incoming and outgoing transactions, inspects budget categories, and checks credit card statements.

You can launch the process via `uvx mcp-organizze` over standard input-output or deploy the Docker image, which uses SSE transport on port 8000 by default. Without valid `ORGANIZZE_EMAIL` and `ORGANIZZE_API_KEY` environment values, the server cannot reach the service.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
- Environment variables: `ORGANIZZE_EMAIL`, `ORGANIZZE_API_KEY`, `MCP_PORT`, `MCP_HOST` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add --env ORGANIZZE_EMAIL=<ORGANIZZE_EMAIL> --env ORGANIZZE_API_KEY=<ORGANIZZE_API_KEY> --env MCP_PORT=<MCP_PORT> --env MCP_HOST=<MCP_HOST> --transport stdio mcp-organizze -- uvx mcp-organizze
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from mcp-organizze <command>

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add mcp-organizze --env ORGANIZZE_EMAIL=<ORGANIZZE_EMAIL> --env ORGANIZZE_API_KEY=<ORGANIZZE_API_KEY> --env MCP_PORT=<MCP_PORT> --env MCP_HOST=<MCP_HOST> -- uvx mcp-organizze
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from mcp-organizze <command>

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "mcp-organizze": {
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [
                "mcp-organizze"
            ],
            "env": {
                "ORGANIZZE_EMAIL": "<ORGANIZZE_EMAIL>",
                "ORGANIZZE_API_KEY": "<ORGANIZZE_API_KEY>",
                "MCP_PORT": "<MCP_PORT>",
                "MCP_HOST": "<MCP_HOST>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from mcp-organizze <command>

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
            "args": [
                "mcp-organizze"
            ],
            "env": {
                "ORGANIZZE_EMAIL": "<ORGANIZZE_EMAIL>",
                "ORGANIZZE_API_KEY": "<ORGANIZZE_API_KEY>",
                "MCP_PORT": "<MCP_PORT>",
                "MCP_HOST": "<MCP_HOST>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from mcp-organizze <command>

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add -e ORGANIZZE_EMAIL=<ORGANIZZE_EMAIL> -e ORGANIZZE_API_KEY=<ORGANIZZE_API_KEY> -e MCP_PORT=<MCP_PORT> -e MCP_HOST=<MCP_HOST> mcp-organizze uvx mcp-organizze
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from mcp-organizze <command>
