## What it does

The server exposes four tools. `web_search` searches with Tavily, Brave, Kagi, or Exa; `ai_search` returns sourced answers through Exa Answer, Linkup, or Tavily Research. For Tavily Research, provide the task ID to retrieve its report. The other tools search GitHub code, repositories, or users, and extract or crawl webpage content.

Set credentials for the providers you plan to use, such as `TAVILY_API_KEY` or `EXA_API_KEY`. Providers without keys are skipped, so configured providers can keep working independently. Add the server to Claude Code with `claude mcp add mcp-omnisearch -- npx -y mcp-omnisearch`. To run it from source, use `pnpm install` and `pnpm run build`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
