# mcp-nequi

## What it does

mcp-nequi exposes Nequi actions to an AI agent, including push and QR payments, subscription lookup and cancellation, transaction reversals, phone validation, and scheduled payments. It also covers merchant balance, transaction history, business details, and settlement queries.

The server runs through `npx` over stdio, with an HTTP option available through `--http`. Authentication uses the OAuth2 client credentials flow. Set `NEQUI_API_KEY`, `NEQUI_CLIENT_ID`, and `NEQUI_CLIENT_SECRET` before launch; `NEQUI_ENV` selects `sandbox` or `production`.

This is an alpha release, and its endpoint paths have not been fully live-validated. Check the API behavior in the Nequi environment before using it for real payment flows. The package is `@codespar/mcp-nequi`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `NEQUI_API_KEY`, `NEQUI_CLIENT_ID`, `NEQUI_CLIENT_SECRET` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
