## What it does

mcp-itau exposes Itaú banking actions to an agent. It can send or refund Pix payments, create QR charges and boletos, fetch account statements, pay collection bills, manage DICT keys, and schedule payments. The package provides 22 tools, including TED and transfers between Itaú accounts.

Every request uses both OAuth2 `client_credentials` and mutual TLS. Configure `ITAU_CLIENT_ID`, `ITAU_CLIENT_SECRET`, `ITAU_CERT_PATH`, and `ITAU_KEY_PATH`; select the environment with `ITAU_ENV`. API paths are still unverified against Itaú’s merchant-only OpenAPI specs, so they must be checked before live use. The sandbox host can also vary by merchant.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `ITAU_CLIENT_ID`, `ITAU_CLIENT_SECRET`, `ITAU_CERT_PATH`, `ITAU_KEY_PATH`, `ITAU_ENV` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
