## What it does

An MCP server exposing 22 tools for the Brazilian bank Banco Inter. Your agent can open a boleto, generate a PIX charge with its BR Code, look up incoming payments, send a PIX refund, read the balance, pull a statement as PDF, and register notification webhooks.

Auth is OAuth2 client credentials against `/oauth/v2/token`. Permissions come as scopes per API: `boleto-cobranca.read` and `boleto-cobranca.write` cover boletos, `pix.read` and `pix.write` cover PIX, `extrato.read` and `pagamento-ted.write` cover statements and TED transfers. You register an app on the Banco Inter developer portal to obtain `INTER_CLIENT_ID` and `INTER_CLIENT_SECRET`.

Stdio is the default transport when launched through `npx`; setting `MCP_HTTP=true` and `MCP_PORT=3000` switches it to HTTP. Both credentials have to be in the environment before the server starts, otherwise the OAuth2 handshake fails and every API call after it does too.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `INTER_CLIENT_ID` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
