## What it does

mcp-bitso gives an agent tools for Bitso, including market prices and order books, order creation and cancellation, trade records, and account balances. It can also retrieve funding and withdrawal details, fees, and account verification status.

The server provides 20 tools. Bitso requests use HMAC-SHA256 signatures, so configure both `BITSO_API_KEY` and `BITSO_API_SECRET`. Authentication will fail without the required credentials. Bitso’s developer account provides access to a sandbox for testing.

For Claude Code, add the server with `claude mcp add`. The install command shown here passes the API key only; configure the secret separately. Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Gemini CLI are also supported.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `BITSO_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
