# Mastercard Developers MCP

An MCP server that hands your agent Mastercard Developers docs, API specifications and OAuth guides. Useful when you are wiring up a Mastercard integration and want the right page without hunting for it.

## What it does

The server sits between an MCP client and Mastercard Developers resources. Your agent can list the available services, pull operations out of an API specification with their request and response schemas, read documentation pages, and fetch the integration guides for OAuth 1.0a, OAuth 2.0 and Open Finance.

It starts with `npx -y @mastercard/developers-mcp` and talks over stdio. You can pin it to one service with the `--service` argument pointing at a documentation URL, or to a single spec via `--api-specification`. The spec argument wins over the service one, and setting either disables the `get-services-list` tool. So the agent loses the service listing once you narrow the scope.

Building from the repo needs Node.js 18+. The flow is `npm install`, then `npm run build`, then `npm run start`. To debug, run `npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector node dist/index.js`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
