## What it does

Make gives an agent an interface for working with Make scenarios. It can inspect organizations and teams, list scenarios, explain their behavior, discover apps and modules, resolve account-specific values, and help build or edit flows. It also covers execution control, activation, debugging, and webhook investigation.

The package includes skills for scenario reference, account exploration, building, and operations. A separate `make-endpoints` skill calls app actions through `@makehq/endpoints-sdk` or its CLI; writes require approval and a readback. Scenario work requires a Make account and access to the Make scenario-management MCP server. Without both, those skills cannot operate. First use also requires Make OAuth consent with every requested permission granted.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://mcp.make.com/v2`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http make https://mcp.make.com/v2
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add make --url https://mcp.make.com/v2
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "make": {
            "url": "https://mcp.make.com/v2"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "make": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://mcp.make.com/v2"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http make https://mcp.make.com/v2
```

## When to use it
- inspect an account and locate a scenario
- build or edit a Make automation
- run, activate, or deactivate a scenario
- trace a failed execution
- investigate a webhook event

## Example prompts
- List my Make organizations and teams, then find the scenario that handles incoming orders.
- Build a Make scenario with error handling and explain its module flow.
- Review the latest execution and identify why the scenario failed.
