## What it does

This MCP server looks up the organization associated with a MAC address or its OUI prefix, using IEEE registries as its source. It requires neither an account nor an API key. That makes it handy when you need to identify an address found in network configuration or logs.

You can connect it to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and the other listed platforms. For Claude Code, run `claude mcp add --transport http mac-address-lookup https://mac.jasontally.com/mcp`. The connection depends on reaching the MCP server URL.
