## What it does

The server gives agents access to a trading and technical-analysis library, setup statistics and public records related to US markets. It also includes a prop-firm challenge simulator and a directory of firm rules. Market-tracker entries link back to their source; the server does not produce trade signals or forecasts.

Journal features require a LuxAlgo account. Brokerage access runs locally and is read-only, with credentials kept on your machine. That boundary matters: brokerage tools are not part of the hosted server.

For Claude Code, run `claude mcp add --transport http luxalgo-mcp https://mcp.luxalgo.com/mcp`. Cursor can connect through its MCP configuration. Hosted public tools work without an API key.
