# Lunara Intelligence

## What it does

AI models often hallucinate regulatory deadlines because training datasets predate legal amendments. For instance, Regulation 2026/1744 postponed EU AI Act high-risk requirements by sixteen months, while other clauses stayed on their original timeline. This MCP server queries `obligations.json` dynamically and determines current legal standing at the moment of invocation.

Five tools handle inquiries: `lunara_obligations`, `lunara_applicability`, `lunara_cite`, `lunara_verify`, and `lunara_integrity`. Every document fetch verifies an Ed25519 signature against keys listed in `/.well-known/keys.json`. There is no local cache. If network access to `lunarasociety.com` fails, the server responds with a clear network error rather than outdated dates.

Direct statutory citations carry a `verified` tag, whereas applicability checks are labeled `interpretation`. Under California SB 942, rules only govern generative systems exceeding one million monthly users. Below that volume, the tool reports zero applicable duties.
