## What it does

This remote MCP server runs over Streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.lovable.dev`. It gives your coding assistant access to workspace management, template browsing, code inspection, and project publishing. You can communicate directly with the Lovable build agent, fetch diffs, and inspect real-time traffic analytics. It also includes tools to provision a cloud Postgres database and run direct SQL statements.

Authentication relies on RFC 9728 discovery and OAuth 2.1. While Claude Code and ChatGPT configure the connection using just the URL, editors such as Cursor or VS Code require setting the public OAuth `CLIENT_ID` (`6d465f583e1e4ce5801b1616f735670c`) in their JSON configs.

Actions like `create_project` and `send_message` consume Lovable build credits. Running `query_database` executes SQL commands directly against your active database instance, so verify instructions before running mutations.
