## What it does

The server talks to your Azure subscription and exposes Logic Apps operations to the assistant: list workflows, pull run history, trace a failed action, create or update, disable. Both Consumption and Standard SKUs are covered. The feature list names 40 tools, connectors discovery and connection creation among them.

It runs locally over stdio as `npx -y logicapps-mcp`. You need an Azure session first — `az login` — otherwise there is nothing to read. A global install is also available: `npm install -g logicapps-mcp`.

Failure tracing walks actions, loops and scopes until it finds the break point. Edits go the same route: attach a retry policy to an HTTP action, cancel a run, switch a workflow off. Write operations depend on what your subscription permissions allow.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

## Install

claude mcp add logicapps-mcp -- npx -y logicapps-mcp
```
### Codex
**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add logicapps-mcp -- npx -y logicapps-mcp
```
### Cursor
**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "logicapps-mcp": {
            "command": "npx",
            "args": [
                "-y",
                "logicapps-mcp"
            ]
        }
    }
}
```
### GitHub Copilot
**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json

            ]
        }
    }
}
```
### Gemini CLI
**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add logicapps-mcp npx -y logicapps-mcp
```
## When to use it
- find a run that failed overnight and see why
- trace a chain of actions, loops and scopes down to the break
- attach a retry policy to an HTTP action
- disable or recreate a workflow without the portal
- list the Logic Apps in a subscription
## Example prompts
- Show me the failed runs from the last 24 hours
- Why did this run fail?
- Add retry logic to the HTTP action in the order-processing workflow
