## What it does

The server covers every Liongard endpoint and keeps an offline snapshot of your MSP estate. Search it, join it with other data, or diff it against the previous run. All through `liongard-cli`.

Two install paths. Claude Desktop users grab the `.mcpb` bundle and open it via Settings > Extensions — no JSON, no shell. For Claude, Codex and Cowork, paste the install prompt and the installer drops `liongard-cli` and `liongard-mcp` into your user bin. Confirm with `liongard-cli --version`.

One thing to take seriously: do not start HTTP mode (`--transport http`) in this build, not even on localhost. There is no password, it binds to every network interface, and it shipped before the browser rebinding guard — a page you have open in a browser can reach the server. The MCP tools act with your credentials and can change things. Stay on stdio, and tear down any tunnel you set up for a remote agent.

This is a community build, not affiliated with Liongard, Inc.

## Requirements
- Environment variables: `LIONGARD_ACCESS_KEY_ID`, `LIONGARD_ACCESS_KEY_SECRET`, `LIONGARD_API_KEY`, `LIONGARD_BASE_URL`, `LIONGARD_INSTANCE` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## Install
