## What it does

This server integrates real-time web retrieval into MCP clients. It exposes `linkup-search` for immediate queries, alongside `linkup-research` and `linkup-get-research` for longer multi-source investigations. The search mode accepts a standard setting for direct answers and a deep setting for synthesis across multiple articles.

Queries can be restricted by publication intervals via `fromDate` and `toDate`, or confined to chosen sites using `includeDomains` and `excludeDomains`. The scraper extracts text, pulls associated images, and optionally renders client-side JavaScript for complex layouts.

Requests will fail without a valid Linkup API key created at `app.linkup.so`. The server connects either remotely via Streamable HTTP or locally through `npx`.
